Do I need a consultation before getting extensions?

Yes, a consultation is absolutely required for all new extension clients! During this complimentary session, our certified specialists will assess your natural hair, discuss your dream length and volume, expertly match your color and texture, and order your premium custom hair.

Do you maintain or work with extensions installed by other salons?

To guarantee our standard of luxury and protect the health of your natural hair, our certified specialists only service extensions that were purchased through and installed at Sunday Salon. We do not perform maintenance or move-ups on outside work, nor do we install hair purchased from third-party vendors. If you currently have extensions from another salon, we would be happy to discuss safely removing them during your consultation to start fresh with a brand new, flawless installation!

Will hair extensions damage my natural hair?

The health and integrity of your natural hair is our absolute top priority. When installed by our certified experts and properly maintained at home, luxury extensions are completely safe and will not damage your natural hair. We use industry-leading, seamless methods that distribute weight evenly and safely.

How often do I need to come in for extension maintenance?

To protect your natural hair and keep your extensions completely undetectable, maintenance ("move-ups") is required every 6 to 8 weeks. During this appointment, we will carefully remove, move up, and secure your extensions as your natural hair grows out.

Can I wash, heat-style, and work out with extensions?

Absolutely! Our premium human hair extensions can be washed, blow-dried, curled, and flat-ironed just like your natural hair. We will provide you with a comprehensive at-home care guide, including brushing techniques and sulfate-free product recommendations, to ensure your extensions stay flawless at the gym, the pool, and beyond.

How long does an extension installation appointment take?

Flawless blending takes time! Depending on your current hair and whether we are adding volume, length, or both, a full installation generally takes 2 to 4+ hours. We offer complimentary beverages, Wi-Fi, and a luxurious environment so you can unwind during your transformation.

How does your pricing structure work for extensions?

We believe in upfront, transparent pricing. Extension investments are broken into two parts: the cost of the premium hair itself, and the cost of the installation and custom color blending. Because every client's goals are different, your stylist will provide a firm, accurate price quote during your consultation before any hair is ordered.

Will my extensions match my natural hair color perfectly?

Yes! The secret to undetectable extensions is a flawless color match. Our master colorists will custom-formulate glosses, shadow root, or balayage to ensure your natural hair and your new extensions blend together completely seamlessly.
