    HOW DOES YOUR PRICING STRUCTURE WORK?

    We offer two distinct pricing tiers for our services: Master and Stylist, which are determined by years of experience and advanced education. Our Master stylists have extensive training and mastery in their craft, while our Stylists bring a fresh perspective with a solid foundation of skills honed through rigorous experience.

    Our commitment to you is to provide transparent pricing with no hidden fees, ensuring you know exactly what to expect. All of our services are available à la carte, meaning you can customize your experience to fit your needs, and all optional add-ons are clearly outlined for your convenience. For example, when scheduling a color service, you’ll see the price associated with either the Master or Stylist level clearly displayed, along with the opportunity to select additional services to enhance your look.

    During your consultation, if your stylist assesses that you might require extra color product to achieve your desired look—taking into account factors such as the density and length of your hair—we will make sure to communicate this openly. You’ll receive a precise price quote before any services begin, ensuring peace of mind and no surprises at checkout.

    To achieve optimal results and maintain the health of your hair, we firmly believe that every strand should be treated during a color service. Therefore, all our color services include a gloss, often referred to as a “glaze” or “toner.” This not only adds vibrancy and shine but also helps protect your hair, giving you long-lasting, beautiful results you can be proud of. Our goal is to ensure that your experience with us leaves you feeling confident and radiant.

    IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?

    We are conveniently located in a vibrant shopping plaza with plenty of free parking for our customers. During peak hours, from 11 AM to 2 PM daily, there are 20-minute parking spots available right in front of the salon. Feel free to use these spots outside of peak hours for quick access to our services. If those spots are full when you arrive, don’t worry—additional parking is readily available nearby, especially next to the Schwab branch adjacent to Weston PKWY. Our location is designed to provide you with a hassle-free experience, allowing you to focus on what truly matters—your time with us!

    HOW CAN I LEAVE A TIP / GRATUITY?

    As a departmentalized salon, we are unable to accept tips via credit cards for distribution among our service providers. We sincerely appreciate your generosity and kindly ask that tips be given in cash, or through Venmo or PayPal. For your convenience, we recommend leaving a gratuity of 20% of your service price. Thank you for your understanding!

    WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

    We happily accept all major credit cards, including Apple Pay, debit cards, and cash payments. Please be aware that we do not accept checks.

    DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?

    Yes, we do offer gift cards. They can be purchased online or in person at our front desk. Please note that gift cards will expire six months after the issue date.

    CAN MY CHILDREN ACCOMPANY ME?

    Children are welcome in the salon only when they are receiving a service. For safety and insurance reasons, children under the age of 12 are not allowed to accompany you during your appointment. Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities to supervise children, and we believe that having unsupervised children in the waiting area or during parents’ appointments can pose a safety concern. While we truly appreciate and love children, we must prioritize their safety in a professional environment and ensure that our guests can enjoy a relaxing experience. We kindly ask for your understanding in this matter. Additionally, it is important for children to remain still during their appointments to allow our stylists to provide the best possible service. This can be done either in-person or virtually, providing flexibility to suit your preferences. During this consultation, we will take the time to discuss your hair goals, assess your current hair condition, and create a personalized plan that ensures you have ample time to complete your desired services and achieve the look you envision.     HOW TO SCHEDULE MULTIPLE SERVICES?

    To ensure a seamless experience when scheduling any color or chemical services alongside a haircut or blowout finish, it’s important to follow a specific booking procedure. Please begin by reserving your color or chemical service first, as these treatments often require more time and preparation. Once you have secured your appointment for the color or chemical service, you can then book your haircut or blowout to complete your look. This approach helps us allocate the right amount of time for each service, ensuring you receive the best results and a relaxing experience during your visit.

    IS STYLING INCLUDED WITH COLOR SERVICES?

    Color services that are not paired with a haircut do not include styling and must be scheduled separately as a color finish. This means that if you choose to receive only a color service, you’ll need to book an additional appointment specifically for styling. However, to enhance your experience, we offer a complimentary self-blow-dry area for our clients. This space is fully equipped with high-quality professional tools and products, allowing you to style your hair conveniently and effectively after your color service. We want to ensure you leave looking and feeling fabulous!

    Absolutely! Our team comprises highly skilled stylists who specialize in understanding and addressing the unique needs of curly hair.     DO YOU OFFER BRIDAL SERVICES?

    Yes, we provide in-salon bridal hair styling services. To guarantee perfection on your special day, we require a bridal hair trial in advance. This session allows our stylist to understand your preferences and experiment with your desired style. To schedule your bridal trial, please reach out to the salon.

    DO YOU OFFER PERM SERVICES?

    We offer perm services exclusively through personalized consultations to ensure that each client’s unique needs and hair types are carefully considered. To receive this specialized service, we kindly ask that you schedule an in-person consultation (perms) where our experienced stylists will discuss your desired look, hair care tips, and the best options for your hair. This way, we can provide you with the most tailored and effective perm experience possible. DO NOT book a perm consultation if you have any balayage, highlights, or lightening in your hair, even if only on the ends. Please ensure all lightened sections are fully cut off before considering a perm.

    HOW SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR A CURLY HAIRCUT?

    Please ensure that your hair is worn down, thoroughly detangled, and has little to no product in it when you arrive. It’s important that your hair looks natural and clean, so take a moment to brush it out and remove any knots. This will help us achieve the best results for your style and ensure that everything goes smoothly during your appointment. Thank you!

    WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

    If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, please notify Sunday Salon at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to cancel within this timeframe, or not showing up for your service, will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full value of your scheduled service. Additionally, if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, regardless of the reason, you will be placed on a deposit-only status for the next 12 months. Moving forward, securing your appointment will require a deposit equivalent to the full value of the service. This deposit is non-refundable if another cancellation occurs within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time.

    WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

    We kindly ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow sufficient time for check-in and any necessary paperwork. Arriving early will help ensure that you can relax and prepare for your appointment without feeling rushed. Please note that if you arrive more than 15 minutes after your appointment’s start time, we may need to reschedule your visit to maintain our schedule for other clients. Additionally, arriving late could result in being subject to our cancellation policy, which we aim to uphold in fairness to all our valued clients.     WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE A SERVICE ADJUSTMENT?

    After your service is complete and payment has been successfully processed, you have a 7-day window to schedule a return visit for any hair adjustments. This allows for any necessary tweaks or refinements to ensure you are completely satisfied with your look. Please contact the salon within this period, as they will arrange your appointment with your original service provider, who understands your specific needs and preferences. Your satisfaction is our highest priority, and we are committed to making sure you leave feeling your absolute best!

    WHAT IS YOUR RETURN AND REFUND POLICY?

    Our return policy is valid for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we regret to inform you that we cannot provide a refund or exchange. To qualify for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it, and it should be in its original packaging.

HAIR EXTENSIONS

    WHAT DOES HAIR EXTENSION MAINENANCE INVOLVE?

    To ensure the health of both your natural hair and extensions, it is recommended to reinstall them every 5-8 weeks. This involves removing the extensions, thoroughly washing and conditioning the hair extensions and your natural hair, and then reinstalling the extensions.

    IS IT POSSIBLE TO WASH, STYLE, AND BRUSH MY HAIR?

    Absolutely! You can wash and style your hair extensions. To extend their lifespan, use a brush specifically designed for extensions and appropriate styling products. Be sure to avoid using any heat tools directly on the bonds or tape of your extensions.

    Additional tips for maintenance include avoiding products with sulfates and alcohol, as these can dry out the hair and cause damage to both your natural hair and extensions. It is also important to keep your scalp clean and free of build-up, as this can affect the health of your natural hair follicles.

    DO HAIR EXENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL HAIR?

    When maintained properly, hair extensions will not cause any damage to your natural hair. However, if not installed or maintained correctly, they can cause damage such as hair breakage and thinning.   It is important to seek a professional for installation and follow proper maintenance techniques to minimize any potential damage.

    CAN I STILL SWIM WITH HAIR EXTENSIONS?

    Yes, you can still swim while wearing hair extensions. However, it is recommended to wear a swim cap to protect both your natural hair and extensions from chlorine or salt water damage. After swimming, be sure to thoroughly rinse and wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove any chemicals or build-up.

    HOW LONG DO HAIR EXTENSIONS LAST?

    The lifespan of hair extensions depends on the type of extensions used and how well they are maintained. On average, tape-in and sew-in extensions can last up to 8 weeks before needing to be removed and reinstalled. Fusion or microbead extensions can last up to 3-4 months with proper maintenance. It is important to follow the recommended maintenance schedule and avoid any damaging products or heat tools in order to extend the lifespan of your hair extensions.
