Great from the minute you walk in, starting with reception, where you’re greeted with a cloth for your hands, a drink, a chocolate. Covid protocol is followed. I’d searched for a skilled colorist, because I was thinking of transitioning to grey. I decided not to after talking with Lisa–who only does color–and I walked out with a fabulous red and some product. I also had a trim from Giulia, and I love my hair! Be aware, you’re not going into a franchise for a few minutes, and it will cost accordingly. But if you want top quality work, to relax, and to be treated as a valued customer (especially if you’re often the Invisible Older Woman) you will love Sunday!

Lisa has the gift of hair color! Lisa is my go-to person for color, highlights, and gloss. Her color magic creates a warm reddish brunette with crown/face highlights that looks incredibly natural. How does your pricing structure work?
We strive to provide upfront and clear pricing without any hidden fees. Our services are à la carte with all optional add-on services clearly defined. For instance, booking an appointment for a color service will have a listed price for either Master or Stylist level. You may choose to add optional add-on services.
If your stylist believes that you may need additional color product to achieve your desired finished look, based on the density and length of your hair, we will communicate this up-front during your consultation, and provide an accurate price quote before services begin to ensure that there are no surprises at checkout.
In order to achieve the best results for your hair, we believe that during a color service, all of the hair needs to be treated, which is why all of our color services include a gloss, which is also commonly known as a “glaze” or “toner.”

What if I'm uncertain which services to schedule?
Our services are à la carte and have allotted durations. If you are uncertain of what to book, looking for a big change, have extra long or thick hair, or in need of corrective work, we highly recommend scheduling a complimentary in-person or virtual consultation to ensure that you are scheduled with enough time to complete your desired services.
How to schedule multiple services?
If you want to schedule any color or chemical services with a haircut, please ensure that you schedule your color or chemical service first, followed by the haircut.
Is styling included with color services?
No, color services that are not followed by a haircut, do not include styling and must be scheduled separately as a color finish. Alternatively, we do have a complementary self-blowdry area available that is fully stocked with professional tools and products.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, please provide Sunday Salon with 24 hours’ notice. Should you fail to cancel your appointment within the allotted time frame or not show up for your service, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the full value of your scheduled service.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive at least 15-minutes prior to your appointment time to ensure adequate time for check-in. Please be advised that if you arrive later than 15-minutes after your scheduled appointment start-time, we may have to reschedule your appointment and you may be subject to our cancellation policy.
What if I want to make a service adjustment?
After service is provided and paid for, you have 7 calendar days to schedule and return to see your original service provider for any hair adjustments.
How can I leave a tip / gratuity?
Tips are greatly appreciated and may be left in either cash, or by Venmo, or by PayPal. We recommend leaving 20% of your service price as gratuity.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as cash. We do not accept checks.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we do. Currently gift cards can be purchased online or in person at our front desk. Gift cards are set to expire 6-months after the issue date.
Can My Children Accompany Me?
Children are only permitted in the salon when the child is receiving a service. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service. We do not have the facilities to care for children. We feel as a business, children who visit the salon during their parents' appointments or children who are unattended in the waiting area pose a safety issue. We love children, and we hope you understand that we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of our guests. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. During their appointment, children need to be able to sit still so that the stylist can perform a quality service.
What is your RETURN AND REFUND POLICY?
You may return items in accordance with the Salon’s Return Policy posted on this Website. If you are uncertain about your right to return an item, you may contact the Salon for assistance.
