Stylist Experience: Sunday Salon’s Trip to Goldwell 2025

CARY, NC — October 9, 2025 — Sunday Salon continues to elevate its commitment to creativity, culture, and education through an inspiring Stylist Experience that took two of its artists across Europe. From September 12–21, 2025, owner Lisa Edwards and stylist Katherine Beingolea embarked on a 10-day journey to Goldwell ColorSphere 2025 in Milan, Italy, followed by meaningful stops in Florence and Barcelona.

A Gift of Growth

To celebrate Katherine’s three-year anniversary, Lisa surprised her with a once-in-a-lifetime trip designed to honor her hard work and passion for her craft.

“I was floored when they delivered the news at our annual company meeting,” said Katherine Beingolea. “I felt so honored to be chosen for such a big opportunity and even more excited knowing Lisa was coming along! I’ve never been to Europe or a hair show before, so to experience both at once was a dream come true.”

Global Artistry in Motion

At Goldwell ColorSphere, stylists from around the world shared their artistry through color, cut, and creative expression. The event showcased a wide range of cultural influences, reminding attendees that there’s no single way to create beauty.

“It was powerful to see stylists from different countries bring such unique perspectives,” said Lisa Edwards. “It reminded us that creativity doesn’t live in a box – it’s shaped by people, stories, and culture.”

During their time abroad, Lisa and Katherine experienced:

“It refreshed the love I have for my craft,” she shared. “Seeing color and shape through another stylist’s eyes helps you grow. I can’t wait to bring those ideas and techniques back to my clients at Sunday Salon.”
