National Hair Loss Awareness Month
August 21, 2021

August is officially National Hair Loss Awareness Month, which means now is an important time to understand the causes of hair loss and share why we recommend Virtue Flourish™ as the brand for hair loss solutions.

According to the American Hair Loss Association, women actually make up forty percent of American hair loss sufferers. That is a significant percentage for a condition that has mistakenly been thought to be a male disease. For far too long, women with hair loss conditions have suffered in silence. The American Hair Loss Association recognizes that hair loss for women is a serious life altering condition that can no longer be ignored by the medical community and society as a whole.

Causes of hair loss

There are several variations of hair loss for women that range in severity. The common trend is that hair loss for women is often misdiagnosed as a temporary side effect from another condition, and often due to this misdiagnosis, it can be extremely frustrating finding treatments. Some common side effects that can cause hair loss are stress and pregnancy. These conditions can cause some temporary hair loss, but with the right products hair can be restored to a healthy and strong condition. Of course, it is always recommended that you seek the advice of a medical professional to treat Alopecia, which is the medical term for excessive or abnormal hair loss.

Hormone imbalance is the most common cause of hair loss for women. Other causes include Androgenetic Alopecia, Telogen Effluvium, Anagen Effluvium, and Traction Alopecia.

VIRTUE Flourish™

To address hair loss we highly recommend Virtue Flourish™ which is formulated to stimulate hair growth like we’ve never seen before. Virtue Flourish™ is shattering the stigma of hair loss for women, igniting the conversation about hair loss for women, and most importantly creating products that are producing lasting results.

Virtue Labs believes that female hair loss is different and they have developed a more comprehensive approach to treat this condition. Virtue Flourish™ is designed to stimulate scalp fertility by nourishing the hair follicles and strengthening the moisture barrier for your hair to grow healthier. Key ingredients nourish new hair as it emerges to increase strength and thickness. While your hair is being repaired and rejuvenated overnight you can be confident that your hair looks great during the daytime.

The results speak for themselves. Virtue Flourish™ has been tested independently and produced results that indicate a significantly healthier scalp and hair growth.

We have several clients actively using Virtue Flourish™ and the feedback has been positive. The regimen starts at three months for a kit. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. We’re here to help.

Since, I have gotten older, post menopausal, what I have been experiencing is primarily the diameter of my hair is thinner. I am a professional woman, just so hard to describe, I get a lot of pity looks. My hair has always been straight. My hair is straight, but when I “perm” my hair my co-workers are stunned. Did I wash my hair? Did I change the color? Did I put in extensions? I wash my hair every time I take a shower. How much money do I spend on my hair? One perm costs me under $10. I perm about every 3 to 4 months. A total of $50 a year for a mop of curly hair. Every time my straight hair is more obvious, there comes the pity looks. Fortunately I have my dad’s hair, genetically speaking, and there is no need to color yet. Trust me, I do have some gray, but it is not that noticeable. I do have acquaintances who are not primarily English speaking, that sort of thing. People like to gossip. Women especially like to gossip. I wish I could be with my natural hair, trust me, that is not going to do, not in today’s professional world. Knock off them sneakers and put on some heels, get the lipstick out.
